Nelly Longarms

Another water supernatural creature. She is known as a hag who lives in the depths of ponds, just like another supernatural creature. And just like the other water supernatural creatures she reaches out and drags children who get too close to the edge underneath the water and into the bottom depths.

The only difference being, she wouldn’t come to the surface. Instead she would use her extra long arms, those that are at least two to three times the length of a normal person’s arms and drag them in from the depths.

A truly terrifying thought. Added in with the other supernatural creatures it’s hard to believe why a child would go near water in the first place. Only those who were brave enough to face these creatures would have played anywhere near the water. Be it a pond, river, lake or well.
